Entry-level IFS jobs: how to get a first role

Where junior and graduate IFS roles come from, how many are open and how to land one. Updated 10 October 2026.

Short answer. Entry-level IFS jobs are rare in adverts: 3 of 155 open roles on this board are junior, graduate or trainee positions. Most people get their first IFS role through an IFS partner's graduate intake, a support desk, or by becoming the key user on their own employer's IFS project.

Open junior roles today

  • Support roles. Application support is the most common first job. See IFS support jobs.
  • Key user at an IFS customer. Volunteer for the project team where you work.
