What is IFS Cloud?
A plain explanation of IFS Cloud: what it covers, who uses it and what it means for jobs. Updated 10 October 2026.
Short answer. IFS Cloud is the current enterprise software platform from IFS. It combines ERP, enterprise asset management (EAM) and service management in one product, for companies in aerospace and defence, energy, utilities and resources, construction and engineering, manufacturing, service industries and telecommunications. Despite the name, it can run in IFS's cloud or in a customer's own environment.
What it covers
- ERP: finance, supply chain, manufacturing, projects and HCM.
- EAM: maintaining plants, fleets, networks and other physical assets.
- Service management: field service, contracts and scheduling.
