IFS career guide
What is an IFS partner?
What IFS partners do, the tiers you will see and how to choose one to work for or hire. Updated 10 October 2026.
Short answer. An IFS partner is an independent company authorised by IFS to sell, implement, extend or support IFS software. findifsjobs lists 69 verified partners, from IFS-only specialists to global consulting firms.
Types of partner
- IFS specialists that work only on IFS (35 in the directory).
- ERP boutiques that cover IFS alongside other systems (18).
- Global firms with an IFS practice (16).
Tiers
IFS groups partners into tiers. In the directory, 21 are Specialized, 13 are Premier, 10 are Elite; the rest have no tier published.
Choosing one
To work for: look at how many live projects they run in your module and whether they train and certify people. To hire: ask for references in your industry and on your IFS version. Start with the regional Top 10 or the full directory.
Questions people ask
How do I check a company is really an IFS partner?
Look for it in the IFS partner directory or an IFS announcement. Every profile on findifsjobs links to that source.
Are bigger IFS partners better?
Not necessarily. Specialists often have deeper IFS teams in a given module or industry than a global firm's local practice.
